Miami Yoga

History of Fred Busch’s Miami Yoga :

Fred Busch opened his first yoga studio named Miami Yogashala in the South Beach section Miami in 2001. After owning and directing his studios in Miami for 17 years, Fred sold his final studio.  Fred’s Miami Yoga is now taught by Fred’s over 700 graduates in the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, The Middle East and South America.

Fred Busch’s Miami Yoga Teacher Training School is now located at The Sacred Space Miami in Miami’s Design District and is co-sponsored by Love Life Wellness Center located in the Wynwood section of Miami, both locations are minutes away from Brickell Avenue.

Fred Busch’s original Yoga School was called Miami Yogashala was founded as an Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga School in 2001. After several years of teaching Ashtanga Vinyasa, Fred started to observe that there seemed to be no adequate mechanism to heal certain injuries.

As a result Fred created his own Healing Sequences Yoga Therapy and slowly began to advise certain students to refine their poses in ways that were more healing. This development meant that Fred no longer was teaching traditional Ashtanga vinyasa yoga, so he changed the name of his classes to Power Yoga.
